I have degrees in business and law. I worked for over 20 years as a health care consultant specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. My clients included hospitals and hospital systems, physician groups, skilled nursing facilities, Alzheimer's programs, inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs and more. Projects included strategic plans, feasibility studies, market analysis, program development, and more.
I began work as a freelance writer over five years ago and I draw on my consulting skills and experiences to provide my clients with original content in a variety of forms including articles, blogs, reports, marketing materials, press releases, policies/procedures, job descriptions and more.
In addition, I provide line,copy, and concept editing to manuscripts, thesis or dissertation submissions and business, educational, and personal documents.
I am also available for fiction and non-fiction writing of biographies, short stories, novels, general non-fiction, and other projects.
My novel "Shadowlands" was published in 2012 and my short story "The Carver" was included in the "All Hallows' Evil anthology in 2013.
Work Terms
I work from home and my hours are varied and while I work 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, I am also available evenings and weekends if necessary. I prefer communication by email and telephone call but can also do Skype and other communication forms if preferred. My rate is $20/500 word article, although other rates will apply depending on a project's scope and my relationship with a client (long term versus one time).
