Professional, reliable English Spanish Translation Services and Virtual Assistant

I am a professional English Spanish Sworn Translator with over 20 years of experience, mainly in the technical (IT) field, but also with strong experience in Medicine / Biochemistry / Health Sciences, Engineering, Legal & Finance.

My work as translator has provided me with strong abilities to research, write, draft, review and edit all kinds of written material and also has provided me with a keen eye for detail, detection of typos, improvement of both the source and target texts through the spotting of inconsistencies, adherence to style guides, coherence, etc. Freelance working has also taught me to deal with clients from different countries, cultures and time zones with all the things that working on one’s own entail: prospecting, quoting, invoicing, managing budgets, deadlines and priorities.

And, simultaneously to my freelance work as translator, I have also worked in-company for different organizations throughout the years, mainly in positions as Secretary to General Managers, where I have acquired a wide array of valuable administrative and executive experience in many tasks. To mention some of them: Handling of work and personal schedules. Phone call screening. Meeting coordination. Interpreting. Office supplies management. Writing of letters, faxes, reports. Creation, drawing up, tracking and follow up of all kinds of sent and received documents. Filing and Archiving. Organization of different events, travels, reservations. Budget requests, expense reports. Preparation of offer folders, and bid specs for tenders. Document checking and verification. Contact with and payment to suppliers, among others.
