A motivated and hardworking high school senior who is willing to use an eclectic set of interests and skills to help others!
Hello! Although I am younger, much of my experience comes from 250+ hours of volunteering during high school for various events and organizations around my community. As an officer who manages volunteering clubs (Key Club, Interact Club, and National Honor Society) with 100+ members in each club, my responsibilities and dedication have shaped me into a diligent and passionate worker. I also manage social media (Facebook pages, Instagram, Tumblr, Snapchat) accounts for many clubs/activities in high school and in the community.
Through many career pathway classes in high school, I became proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, graphic design, 3D print modeling, Javascript, Python, and HTML5/CSS. I am also experienced in medical terminology and patient care as a member of the Medical Academy. I previously interned as an assistant at the Valley Institute of Prosthetics and Orthotics.
After years of studying speech/debate, I am currently a state-level speech/debate competitor in Expository speech, Parliamentary and Policy debate. Other in competition, I use this craft to write/edit articles for a local newspaper.
I also love music and am an accomplished french hornist and pianist. I have participated in the Bakersfield Youth Symphony, Golden Empire Drum & Bugle Corp, and school music groups. I have knowledge on music theory and have experience in composing and arranging music.
