I am an experienced writer and editor, with certifications in technical writing and editing. My background is in software development, and I have many years in IT. While my main experience is in programming, I've also written and self-published 7 young adult novels, written user manuals and how-to's, edited newsletters, developed training videos, edited and created product catalogs, created technical drawings, and written many articles online. I am a huge Star Wars fan, I like tacos, and my favorite game of all time is Dragon Age: Inquisition.
I typically carve out around 4-5 hours a day for a project, depending on my schedule. If your project requires a lot of research you can expect me to write 200-300 words per hour on average. A less research-intensive project would result in a higher number of words per hour. Most projects I work on usually range in the 1000-3000 word range, but I am always open to jobs outside those bounds. I am especially happy to take on articles that involve explaining how things work or the difference between things.
