About

Providing professional tax, bookkeeping, research and support services to small businesses and individuals.

I began my career in accounting and taxation in 2007 when I joined a private accounting firm as a part-time employee in Montpelier, VT. In 2008, I received my Accounting Degree in Accounting and obtained employment with a CPA firm in Barre, VT. I worked with this firm from July of 2008 until September 2013. In late 2013, I formed my own business, JFS Tax Service, LLC and also worked for a CPA in Montpelier during the 2013-2014 tax season.

Besides my accounting background,I have also worked in Vermont State Government for 20 years, served in United States Air Force for 4 years, and I currently serve my community as a Fire Fighter for the Town of St. Johnsbury, VT.

In addition to holding an Accounting Degree, I have graduated from the National Tax School's basic and advanced courses in Taxation, and I complete yearly continuing professional education courses.
