I currently live in New Zealand and trained at Natcoll Design Technology (now Yoobee School of Design) from 2009 – 2011 where I completed the Diploma of Animation and Digital Video, and Diploma of Animation (Advanced).
For the past three years I have been working for the Australian video game company, Games Lab, as a Maya generalist. I worked in their Auckland office from 2012 until it closed down at the end of 2013 and I have been working as an independent contractor for them since the start of 2014. My job for Games Lab involves taking artwork provided and turning it into a 3D model then rig the model and create a short animation. I then render out this animation and using Adobe After Effects, I must compose the video and add in any required effects. In this role I have worked on many different types of characters from realistic humans too cartoon animals and mythological creatures. Unfortunately I am unable to provide a sample of this work.

I have also been working on an independent game called “Rise of Valhalla” for a little over a year as the rigger/animator. I have created rigs and animations for several characters which have been exported out too Unity.
