During that time I have learned a great deal not just about the technical side of my work but how important it is to identify with your users needs. Put yourself in their shoes and try to anticipate their needs and wishes. That is very important but sometimes overlooked by developers.
Work Terms
My time zone is GMT +1 (European central time).
As a full-time freelancer, glued to my laptop constantly, I am available practically whole day till late in the night.
My hourly rate is $40.
If I am working on bigger projects, the best practice is to make them fixed price, usually divided into 3 milestones.
For smaller projects, an hourly contract is a better solution.
