Hello everyone,

I have a diverse professional background, starting off as an Elementary
School Teacher for nearly 15 years (grades 1 to 3), followed by a
Recruiter for seven years, and Career/Small Business Coach with a focus
on Women and Baby Boomers, of which I am one (technically a "late
Boomer"!)

I started a full time freelance writing business in the Spring of 2009.
In the early days I focused my writing on those areas I know best:
careers, education, and human resources. I have since branched out into
many areas and compose a variety of content, as noted below.

Work Terms

I prefer to use SafePay Escrow for all projects. If SafePay Escrow is used, I require a 25-30% of total fee retainer depending on the total fee.


My work is performed within a solely virtual environment, although I do
welcome the opportunity to arrange a no cost-no obligation 20 minute
introductory telephone consultation for projects of a lengthy nature or
involving complex material.

Mine is a solo practice (with the exception of an editorial assistant
for lengthier projects) While I am unable to take on many projects at
one time, I do enjoy developing close working relationships with my
clients.. I believe that consistent communication is key to a successful project.
