If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth about 24,000-30,000 words a second. Don't be at a loss for them!

You've heard it many times. Video is the future. It's everywhere. From YouTube and Facebook, to Instagram and even Twitter, which was once just 140 characters of text, it's now more important than ever to make yourself stand out.

Bill Kearney, founder and producer, was surprised by how many companies would have a strong Facebook or Twitter page without any sort of YouTube page to speak of. If video is so impactful and important, why would a company have 5000 Facebook likes and 10 YouTube subscriptions? Everyone thought to put a TV or radio commercial out there back in the old days and get eyeballs. It used to cost thousands of dollars and you needed expensive cameras. Most companies opted for newspaper and other written ad sources due to the lower relative price. Now, sharing a video or 140 characters of text costs nearly the same. Videos can be produced for much less than they could 10+ years ago with high quality.

Another issue we've observed is that training and instructional videos still have a long way to go. On YouTube, a lot of people are still capturing in 720p, still textbook HD, but some are still in 480p or worse. On top of that, it's a boring talking head or PowerPoint Slides. We can do much better in 2017!

Most laptop screens aren't 1080p yet, so a typical screen capture is falling short of true HD video. The use of callouts, zooms, etc. are supported in some screen capture tools, but are not always professional or easy to use. Let's face it...you really don't have time as a business owner to be trying to learn yet another tool on capturing a screen professionally. Even if you have the right tool to get the screen capture right, now you get to try to narrate and demo your software at the same time and find a high quality microphone in the process.
