Professional Writer/Copywriter

I've always loved to write. Even as a young child in grade school, I would spend hours writing creative stories, especially ghost stories, then scaring my friends with them later.
My passion for writing led me to become a broadcast journalist. For over 10 years I was a television news anchor/reporter and wrote 2-3 news stories per day on various topics from politics, to health, to murders and yes... even ghost stories.
I made a major career change about 6 years ago and have been managing special events for non-profit organizations. Now I write sales copy, marketing materials, press releases, website articles, newsletters and social media updates.
I would love to start a freelance career writing from my home office, so I've opened this account with Guru.com.

I prefer to work Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm but I am flexible.
