About

Responsible, effective, ethical representation.

I am litigator, an educator, and an advocate. In eight years of practice I have successfully litigated on behalf of clients in a variety of areas, including business, environmental protection and family law.

I am General Counsel for Forensic Pursuit, a Colorado based national computer forensics company. Ihandle contracts, human resources, and legal education for attorneys, paralegals, and judges on the intersection between technology and the law.

I still accept cases through The Ewegen Law Firm.

I have a Bachelor’s in Legal Principles and Practice from the Metropolitan State College of Denver and a J.D. from the University of Denver, College of Law. As the daughter of veteran political columnist Robert Ewegen, I grew up in the Colorado political system and began following legal issues at a very early age.

I have successfully represented abused and neglected children as a Guardian ad Litem and as a Child and Family Investigator and Decision Maker. I work in cases involving domestic violence, substance abuse, incest, child abuse, and cultural/religious differences. I have studied a variety of different appropriate parenting styles within a variety of cultures and faiths and have written articles for Attachment Parenting International.

Since opening my own practice in 2007 I have worked with conservation groups to protect endangered and threatened species, with land trusts to protect and restore thousands of acres of Colorado prairie, and with individuals and groups to keep government agencies accountable when they fail to meet their obligations.

I have worked alone and with partners to effectively and inexpensively help small business owners, non-profits, individuals, and groups succeed in their endeavors.
I have written wills and trusts for clients, commercial and residential real estate contracts, mediated and arbitrated for clients in high conflict custody cases, recovered unpaid wages, and more.

I am licensed in Colorado and D.C.
