Content Developer, Academic Editor and Proofreader
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics and English from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, India. I have a Master’s degree in Economics (with Mathematics and Statistics) from Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune, India. I interned at Tata Motors, Mumbai, India for 2 months (May 2004 – July 2004) where I researched domestic truck sales utilizing Microsoft Excel. I worked at HSBC for 2 years (December 2006 – October 2008) as a business analyst utilizing SAS and MS Office. Following this, I worked as a school teacher for 2 years where I taught Mathematics and English to PreK – 7 students, as a Grade 3 – 10 private and remote Mathematics tutor to national and international students (including US and UK based students) for 7 years, and as a K-10 Mathematics curriculum developer for national and international organizations for 3 years. I have a year's experience as an Academic Editor/Proofreader and have completed a US course in proofreading. For the past two years, I have been working as a Math accuracy checker on a Pearson Virtual Schools project.
