I am currently a freelance reporter and a recent journalism grad from Temple University. I have internship experience from the Daily News, the now defunct alt-weekly Philadelphia City Paper, the Philadelphia Notebook, and Philebrity. As a junior, I had the opportunity to travel to South Africa and work as a foreign correspondent where my program was awarded the “Best Use of Social Media for News Services with under 1 million unique monthly visitors” at the 2013 Editor and Publisher EPPY Awards. My writing has also appeared in Technically Philly, JUMP Philly, Philadelphia Neighborhoods, and the Temple News. I work primarily in print and online reporting, (specifically music, race, arts, politics, and technology), web development (such as HTML and CSS), and social media.
