About

I am an honest and hard working individual who enjoys using 20 years of IT experience to benefit others.

I grew up with parents who were both teachers who encouraged hard work, honesty, and creativity. Most importantly I have developed the personally mentality to not be afraid of learning new things. I enjoy the IT world because it allows me to use build on one skill or another.

Thanks to ideals upheld as an Eagle Scout, the people I work with can always be assured of my honesty and willingness to work above and beyond the basic requirements of a given task.

I have a diverse experience base in Information Systems, including network engineering, systems security, SIEM, WiFi, Unix/Linux, and programming. I am never afraid to point out my limitations to others in addition to a willingness to learn.

I have been specializing increasingly in network engineering, NetFlow, systems monitoring, HIDS/NIDS, SIEM, and Aruba-based WiFi. I hold various certifications, and I am currently working on the CEH.

Work Terms

24x7 availability, I can travel in limited cases, working from home is ideal, but I don't have a problem coming onsite if needed. I charge at least $45 per hour, depending on the needs of the customer/project.
