Nicole Givens Kurtz is the author of several published novels and scores of other titles under various pen names. Her science fiction works have been named as finalist in the 2006 Fresh Voices in Science Fiction (Zephyr Unfolding), EPPIE Finalist in Science Fiction (Browne Candidate) and DREAM REALM Finalist in Science Fiction (Browne Candidate).

Nicole has taught at the University of New Mexico as well as middle and high school. Her short stories have appeared in such noted publications as Anotherealm, Tales of the Talisman, and Wild Child Press. In addition to fiction, her nonfiction articles have appeared in AFRIQUE Newsmagazine as well as Moondance, and ePregnancy.

Nicole is often a guest at science fiction and fantasy conventions, where she frequently serves as a panelist on dystopian literature, anime, and electronic publishing.

Additionally, Nicole is an educator with over 15 years experience in middle school, high school and college English/Language Arts instruction.

Work Terms

Hours and schedule are flexible depending upon the project. During the months of June through August, I am available full time (9 to 5 pm EST), Monday through Friday. Payment is expected via Paypal in US dollars within 30 days of successful completion of the project.

Editing and proofreading rates are .03 a word. The rate and fees for writing non-fiction articles, essays, and content as well as providing creative content are negotiable. Generally, content is .05 a word.
