Full-stack solution engineering and developing
Hello, I'm Nuno and I'm a 36-year-old electronics engineer and software developer.
Over the last 4 years, I've been assigned to a web-based project to create an application for small to large healthcare institutions in order to fully computerize them, since a patient enters the institution until it leaves, passing by exam requisition, results determination and diagnosis, infection control and billing system, between others.
My roles in the project consist in developing the application using HTML/CSS, Java, GWT, Hibernate, Spring, JasperReports, and supporting a small team assigned to the project, code reviewing their development and solving the most complex issues and bugs that arise during its progression.
Before that, I've had almost 7 years of experience developing projects based on Vision and Pattern Recognition, using tools like Visual Studio C++ to produce complex signal-processing algorithms to support applications like Fire Detector using Vision, Object and People Detection and Tracking, a Digital Magnifying Glass, between others.
I also have experience with databases like Oracle and PostgréSQL and did some developments using specific drivers and SDK's for Vision Hardware, as well as software design and front-end design and ergonomics.
All in all, I'm looking for new challenging projects and some key clients that may provide a mid to long term cooperation and enhance my skill diversity.
