Orvil was born in Clarendon, Jamaica and is a graduate of the University of West Indies where he was awarded a B.S. in Food & Chemistry as well as a minor in Occupational and Environmental Safety and Health. His extensive knowledge and training on Lean Manufacturing Systems, cGMP’s, FDA (CFR 21) regulations, International Organization for Standardization (ISO), Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements equips him with the relevant knowledge needed to be a Food Consultant.
In addition, he has extensive knowledge and training in Occupational Safety and Health, OSH laws, Occupational Health Disorders, Musculoskeletal Disorders, Workplace hazards, etc. He his therefore capable of consultation, instructing clients how to identify workplace hazards, how to identify physical hazards, how to identify chemical hazards, how to identify biological hazards as well as how to identify the factors that affect human performance.
