Proficiency in Python
Presently Professor of a premiere Engineering Institute, I teach math-based subjects like Numerical Methods and Operations Research. Recently I coordinated and taught a Machine Learning training for Department-level faculties in my Institute.
With a PhD in 2007, I worked as PI in the DST-sponsored Fast Track Project for 3 years, and then as Postdoc for 1 year at Iowa State University with an NSF grant on discovering new solar materials.
I presently belong to a research team on data-driven modelling of materials systems for feature selection, classification, and prediction.
For AI tools I use Rough Set, PCA, Fuzzy Logic, Ant Colony Optimization, Genetic Algorithm or Genetic Programming and other state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence techniques.
My other passions include Photography, vector graphics, and writing scientific articles in LaTeX/TikZ.
Work Terms
I freelance all throughout the week, working in short spells interluded by intense thinking and neat planning.
