Experienced Professional Writer/Editor
Professional writer/editor with many years of experience in a wide range of genres. Since January, 2004, have edited, written, and/or laid out for publication twenty books. In addition, have edited three doctoral dissertations. Education: bachelor's degree plus 12 graduate hours of English; master's degree in Linguistics with a concentration in written English; Ph.D.(abd) in Rhetoric. Have been a college professor for over 20 years either full-time or part-time when also serving as executive editor for corporations. Expert at fiction analysis for marketability in the frantic 21st Century marketplace. Also have a good track record of thorough editing for punctuation, sentence structure, spelling, and logic. In addition, incisive, effective writer of reports, articles, white papers, etc.
Work Terms
I conduct my business online and work primarily in Microsoft Word. For editing, I use the tracking feature. I am flexible in payment arrangements and try to work with my clients to come up with a price and a schedule that is appropriate for both of us. I work in my own office and have no children at home. I communicate freely with my clients according to their preferences--either by phone, Skype, e-mail, or Guru PMB. If they feel comfortable with once-a-week reports, then I will meet that schedule or any other one that helps them to feel secure that the work is progressing on schedule.
