For 6 years, I had been working as a proofreader/copy-editor in a private company that runs famous Brazilian websites (such as Baixaki and TecMundo). My job was to check grammar, punctuation, spelling, style etc. of digital material.
During this time, I had been in charge of defining company’s writing and style guidelines, training new copy-editors and training new writers. Moreover, I had been responsible for translating and proofreading company’s media kits.
