Ricky Trinidad is the Executive Manager for Metronomic, Inc. in Miami, FL overseeing all planning, development and financing work for real estate projects. He is also a consultant for Real Estate Feasibility, Inc. (www.realestatefeasibility.com). Mr. Trinidad is an urban planning and real estate development expert with over 18 years of experience developing, managing and implementing a broad variety of real-estate projects domestically and internationally. He has worked in the real estate development, planning, financing and management industry since 1996 for various real estate development companies, including, VoiceStream Wireless (renamed as T-Mobile in July, 2002), Nextel Partners and Hispanic Housing Development Corporation. As a Senior Project Manager for VoiceStream Wireless and Nextel Partners, he was responsible for the planning, development, acquisition, zoning, approvals, design, construction and management of 164 new wireless facilities throughout Illinois, Indiana, New York and Pennsylvania (1999-2002). As a Real Estate Development Associate for Hispanic Housing, Mr. Trinidad was involved in the acquisition, development and management of numerous mixed-use (commercial/residential) urban development projects. His roles included project financial pro forma modeling and structuring, property acquisition negotiations, re-zoning, municipal approvals, special use variances, tax increment financing, government incentives, project funding, architectural/engineering design, permitting, value engineering, construction bidding, construction management, marketing and property management. Internationally, Mr. Trinidad has implemented projects in China, Panama, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. Mr. Trinidad received a Master’s of Urban Planning and Policy degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the author of Build Correct, published in August, 2009. His book is a guide for developing and managing construction projects effectively.
