My name is Bob Lavoie and until the last week of June, 2013 I was Art Director for Licensing Style Guides for Hasbro Licensing and Publishing. I decided to take a buy-out offer from Hasbro after 28 years with the company and start my own freelance company. For the last 12 years I and my team were responsible for design and production of all Licensing Style Guides for all Hasbro brands.My personal responsibilities outside directing my team included Creative/Art Director and designer for style guides for the first 3 Transformers movies, both G.I. Joe movies and Battleship. I was working on Transformers 4 at the time of the buy-out. I was also either Art Director or designer on style guides for Transformers (non-movie), Tonka, My Little Pony, Littlest Pet Shop, NERF and many others. In addition to style guide design I and my group also designed retail pitch material, product mock ups and Licensing Trade Show Graphics. In my capacity as Art Director I was responsible for all related budgets directing outside studios, in house staff in addition to the design and creation of my own style guides.Over the last 28 years I have also done packaging illustration, corporate design (annual reports, etc) and catalog design.You can see my online portfolio at www.spot51design.com
