For me it's all about the words.
With over twenty years’ experience, in sales and marketing, and writing, combined with a BA in English, I carry both the experience and technical skills to produce top quality copy for every client. I also have a creative side which I express through fiction and the Victoria Writer’s society, where I am past editor of their bi-annual anthology entitled “Island Writer”. Lets call what I do Creative Collateral.

I began in advertising, first with a magazine, then for radio. These experiences sharpened my edge in sales and developed my copywriting skills, before joining another magazine as a writer. Later, I worked with radio again, at Canadian Network Broadcasting. With sales, marketing, and writing skills in hand, I launched my freelance business in 1999. My other work experiences have included: Grocery, Sawmill, Lumber, Electronics Retail, Menswear, Telephony, Salon Products, Pool and Spa, Merchandising, Hardware, Garden-ware, Alarm systems, Closed Circuit TV, and Custom Stereo/Theatre installation, all of which give me a large repertoire to draw from. I am a multi-faceted writer with a varied portfolio.
Some past projects have included;
Stinkerbelle – Complete new product description and re-branding of a bath and beauty line of products to a sexy and sassy theme.
Portolynx Networks – Marketing Strategy as well as Script and Voiceover work – Writer /Editor of multiple presentation video pieces for different business to business sectors, and financial directions of the company. Work Terms
I work days and some evenings, it seems to work best freelancing from the Pacific Coast of Canada. PST is my time zone.
I trade my hours for money and it isn't fair to make me wait. Payment is due on acceptance, large projects will have multiple payments.
