About

I can ghostwrite, and I can also publisher your book.

Stephen Hawley Martin is a professional writer and the only three-time winner of the Writer's Digest Book Award, having won first prize twice for fiction and once for nonfiction. He also has won a first prize for visionary fiction from Independent Publisher and a first prize for nonfiction from USA Book News. He has written and ghostwritten 16 published books, which in total have sold more than 300,000 copies. An advertising agency creative director, he was for four years the editor-in-chief of a book publishing company and is a former principal of the world-renowned ad firm, The Martin Agency (GEICO, Wal-Mart, ExxonMobil), which in 2009 was named by ADWEEK magazine the premier advertising agency in the United States.

Work Terms

You have a book in mind. I can help you bring it to reality. Tell me about it. We can meet via Skype or iChat. I'll develop an outline. You make suggestions, and I'll make revisions until we have something we agree on. Then we talk some more. We work through the outline. I probe, ask questions, and begin a draft. Periodically, I send you what I've written. You review it, make comments. I make revisions, add or subtract based on your input. If necessary, I do research to fill in holes. Before you know it, we have a manuscript. I can publish it through my book publishing firm, The Oaklea Press, or you can take it to another publisher if you wish. It's your choice. Once we agree on a fee, I get half upfront, and the balance when you have a manuscript you are happy with. You have a published book and become recognized as the expert that you are.
