After graduating from the University of Texas with a business degree and a geology degree, I became an international geologist. Then one day I walked onto a comedy stage and that was over.

Learning the craft from the likes of Bill Hicks and Sam Kennison at the Comedy Workshop in Houston was an education you can't buy. The next thing I knew I had won Funniest Person in Houston twice and was National Lampoon's Top Ten Funniest People in America. I quit my job and moved to L.A.

A few years of standup progressed into writing more than just jokes. Eventually I became an animation writer for Howie Mandel's Bobby's World, All Dogs Go To Heaven, Woody Woodpecker, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Tex Avery Show and many more.

After years in animation I became an independent film writer, wrote my own angry musical comedy Night of a Thousand Beers, collaborated with Shelley Duval on her Greenliving lifestyle show and helped her develop Trash Dummies for the ecological education of children. I actually ghost wrote the opening for the first Casper movie and did punchup on it as well.

My reputation as a comedy writer in L.A. led me to dozens of jobs writing screenplays for others. As my development as a writer progressed I began to get jobs writing dark comedy and then action/suspense/thrillers. Having written so many premises for so many people gave me a unique insight into each new project.

Work Terms

$25 an hour for proofreading, editing and punchup.
$100 for Script Starter service of first ten pages of your concept script.
$5000 plus negotiable percentage of budget back in for entire script.
Each project may be negotiated for individual needs.
