METHOD + BEAUTY = DESIGN STORY
Design gives my life passion and purpose. Having grown up in a household with an engineer and an artist, I was raised in an environment that appreciated the method and beauty of the world around me. Design is the intersection of where method and beauty meet, and I’ve built a career around combining these two disciplines. I love hearing my clients' stories and helping my clients translate these stories across multiple platforms. Susan Kubes Design offers clients a diverse and talented team that effectively communicates design stories through identity design, web/graphic design, big picture branding, and social media management.
SUSAN'S STORY
After graduating from Baylor University (go Bears!) with a degree in graphic design, I spent the first half of my career working for internal marketing and design agencies in Texas and Oklahoma. My husband was relocated from Houston to Tulsa in late 2009, so after a year and a half of working remotely for a Houston-based company, I decided to leave my position there to fly solo in 2010. I wanted to use my talents to work one on one with clients instead of being another cog in an agency.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with my husband, daughter, and dog, Zeus. When we're all not hiking a trail nearby in beautiful Tulsa, Oklahoma or enjoying some time at one of our fave local coffee spots, we're catching a movie or trying out a new restaurant. (We're definitely a foodie family!) My husband and I are Texas transplants to Tulsa but feel quite lucky and happy to call Tulsa our "home."
Work Terms
I utlize the most current version of Adobe Creative Suite. I work Monday - Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m CST. I communicate best through email, but you may also reach me via phone or text.
