I possess excellent command of the English language. Grammar and spelling are my forte, making editing and proofreading simple tasks. Reading is, by far, my favorite pastime, thanks to my unquenchable thirst for the written word.
Years of customer service experience have given me interpersonal skills, and ample opportunity to exercise my writing skills with emails, advertising, editing, and sales. These duties, in addition to researching information for customers while speaking on the phone, aided in my ability to effectively multitask and meet deadlines. Thanks to this experience, I'm able to proficiently manage my own home office today. I've handled multiple types of in-bound calls related to customer service, researching general information, connecting to outside departments, billing, technical support (tier I), travel documents, order invoices, and light sales.
I've recently stepped foot in the freelancer's world and I currently have a few projects under way, including ghostwriting for a fictional mini-series. My best-selling work has been my honest, original reviews for clientele, which helps generate traffic to their product, book, or website. I have experience with multiple writing styles, dialects, and research. I'm at my best when my creativity can flow, but I also follow instructions to the letter. I have no problem adhering to strict guidelines.
