Greetings. My name is Vilissa Thompson, and I am a Freelance Writer, as well as the Founder of the disability rights consultation & advocacy organization, Ramp Your Voice!

As a freelancer, I am seeking opportunities to enhance and diversify my writing repertoire.

Presently, I have experience in the following areas: business letter writing, internet research, editing, and feature writing.

I aspire to strengthen these areas, as well as become proficient at grant writing, ghostwriting, speech writing, personal history writing, and fact checking.

Interested corporations and individuals who are in the non-profit sector, writing industry, business sector, and/or needs assistance in proofreading and editing letters, grant proposals, articles, and other related materials, are urged to inquiry about my writing skills and abilities.

Work Terms

I am an entrepreneur who works from home. Presently, I write the articles that appear on my disability advocacy website, and I write for an online social work magazine and a creative website for artists of various backgrounds.

My work schedule fluctuates from week to week, but I am flexible in working with those who seek my services. I do ask to be provided enough time to focus on each project that I accept so that I can produce high quality writings for you as the consumer.

As far as payment is concerned, prices will vary based on the need and the amount of time it will take to complete the writing request(s). Further discussion regarding my rates and payment options will take place once both parties (myself and the prospective consumer) agree on the terms, conditions, and expectations of the writing request.
