Senior Solution Architect

Wallace is an entrepreneur at Agileasy in Rio de Janeiro, specializing in agile software development. Since 1998 he has embraced RAD concept and applied them efficiently in different projects in a major bank with a model-driven approach (MDD). Later with the advent of the XP and the agile manifesto Wallace had opportunity to experiment with TDD (test-driven development) and to do part of a Scrum/Kanban team. Furthermore he participated in projects CMS / Portal system, where he might recognize a target architecture at a focus platform that really abstracts away from web programming languages. Finally he has worked with directly executable models, which increased abstraction and automation by using BDD. For him there is no question that Domain-Specific Languages (DSLs) are the way to build a Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
Wallace grew up in Fortaleza and now lives in Rio de Janeiro with his wife and son. He is active father on his free time, aiming to make his son a better person than him.
Wallace takes a holistic approach and enjoys adopting different roles such as manager, developer, and coach. He focuses on the full application lifecycle and supports the requirements gathering process. For him is easy to translate the requirements into models, he has deep knowledge in UML and BPMN that help him abstract the technology and focus on dealing with people from a modeling perspective. Wallace is passionate about helping companies build excellent software, no matter what role he takes.
