I already have a complete scene laid out in my 3D software and a rigged humanoid character waiting for life. I need a skilled animator to step in and craft believable, polished motion that fits the story beats I provide.
Scope of work
• Block-out and refine body and facial performance for four humanoid characters and one fantasy creature in a short sequence.
• Integrate secondary motion—weight shifts, overlapping action, subtle eye-line changes—to make the performance feel natural.
• Adjust timing, camera cuts, and pacing so the action reads clearly from every angle.
• Add or tweak hand-to-prop interactions if required (I’ll share prop files).
• Provide final clean animation in both your working file (e.g., .blend, .ma, .max) and an export format such as FBX or Alembic, plus a realtime preview render (MP4 or MOV) for review.
Reference & tools
The scene is built in Blender, but I’m open to Maya or 3ds Max as long as the final FBX imports cleanly. If you prefer motion-capture as a starting point, great—just be ready to polish by hand for nuance.
What success looks like
• Smooth, physically believable movement with appealing poses and clear silhouettes.
• No foot sliding or popping.
• Facial animation that matches my supplied audio and storyboard.
• File structure stays organized so I can relight or re-render later without headaches.
I’ll supply: the storyboard and scene file. You supply: your animation expertise, status playblasts for feedback, and a final deliverable ready for shading and render. If this sounds like a fun challenge, let me know your preferred software, a link to a recent character animation reel, and an estimated turnaround time.
