I am looking for a program that can read the Cast List from a theatrical play bill. Then create a database with the list of actors and their character, the name of the show, the dates of the show and the name of the theater
The Playbill is in pdf form.
Then as more and more playbills are read and actors names are added to the database. The end goal is to create a database that functions like IMDB. Where an actor can be searched, Their photo will pop up, along with the roles that they played and the dates that they played the role.
The database should also be able to list a theater and the shows that it has put on, or all the actors that have worked in that theater
