We are seeking an experienced Florida-based Concrete Restoration Estimator. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the construction industry and be proficient in using engineering software. Knowledge of local business vendors and strong analytical skills are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for concrete restoration projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to create accurate and competitive bids.
Utilize engineering software to develop and manage estimates.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive and accurate estimates.
Identify and maintain relationships with business vendors in South Florida, ensuring the best prices and quality for materials and services.
Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary to reflect changes in scope or conditions.
Provide support in negotiating contracts and purchase orders.
Stay updated on industry trends, cost fluctuations, and best practices in concrete construction.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Concrete Restoration Estimator in the construction industry.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Familiarity with business vendors in South Florida and the ability to source quality materials and services.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
