We are seeking a talented Instructional Designer with experience in Graphic Design to create engaging and visually appealing learning materials. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to transform complex information into clear, user-friendly formats.


Job Description:

Language & Culture Worldwide (LCW) is seeking a dedicated Instructional & Visual Identity Graphic Designer passionate about corporate inclusion, diversity, and equity training. At LCW, our mission is to transform organizational cultures and promote a just workplace where every individual feels valued. This  role combines instructional design and graphic design responsibilities, contributing to our educational materials, presentations, e-learning, and promotional content to support workplace inclusion and cultural competence training initiatives.

As an Instructional Designer at LCW, you’ll support the development of creative, interactive training materials, including e-learning modules, presentations, newsletters, and video content. While your primary focus will be instructional design, experience with e-learning methodologies and proficiency in graphic design (using Adobe Creative Suite) are beneficial to enhance the interactivity, accessibility, and visual appeal of our training materials.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Instructional Design: Create engaging, interactive training materials that support workplace inclusion and cultural competence-related learning objectives across digital platforms, aligning with LCW’s instructional and branding standards.

  • E-Learning Development: Utilize e-learning techniques to design interactive modules and training aids, optimizing them for various digital platforms to ensure effective and accessible learning.

  • Content Development: Assist in crafting instructional assets, including presentations, infographics, and visual aids, to facilitate learning and resonate with diverse audiences.

  • Brand Consistency: Work closely with Creative Directors and instructional designers to maintain a consistent visual identity across all materials.

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research on cultural competence and workplace inclusion trends to inform content development, ensuring materials are relevant and impactful.

  • Outreach & Engagement: Support promotional efforts by contributing to the creation of visual assets for social media, outreach campaigns, and client communications.

  • Event Support: Assist in designing visual materials for events and webinars, helping to ensure participant engagement and alignment with inclusion and cultural competence objectives.

  • Web Design & Interactive Elements: Occasionally support web-based training materials and landing pages to enhance user engagement and interactivity.


Qualifications:

  • Passion for Inclusion: Demonstrated commitment to equality, inclusivity, and cultural understanding.

  • Educational Background: Enrollment or recent graduation in social sciences, education, human resources, or related fields, with relevant experience in instructional design preferred.

  • Instructional Design & E-Learning Expertise: Experience or coursework in instructional design and e-learning, with an understanding of adult learning principles.

  • Graphic Design Skills (Preferred): Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is a plus and will support visual content creation.

  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to create clear, engaging instructional materials.

  • Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.


This is a remote position that will take 100 hours to do
