The project involves helping a client to lodge a complaint against another lawyer via the Paris Bar. The lawyer we are looking for must therefore have a thorough knowledge of French law and the disciplinary procedure of the Paris Bar.
My team and I are trying to build a case against a French lawyer who has broken several rules of the Paris Bar, including committing fraud.
We are looking for someone who will carry out research, find evidence to support other cases the lawyer has worked on, draft arguments for disciplinary action and submit these arguments.
Profile sought
- Lawyer admitted to the Paris (or Quebec) bar for 2 to 5 years
- Experience/interests in disciplinary law
- Fluency in written and spoken French
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Thoroughness and confidentiality
Technical skills
- In-depth knowledge of French law and the disciplinary procedure of the Paris Bar
- Proficiency in office automation tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
