Programming & Development ERP / CRM / SCM

We sell replacement parts for commercial kitchen equipment. Opened in 1988, Atlanta GA USA. We sell mostly in USA but also in other countries.

***Certified Magento developers only requested to apply, no exceptions***

(One of our pre-requirements is the developer that would 'actually be working' on our long term projects (not a sub-developer non-certified person) must be certified. Please dont apply if you or your company are not certified. If you do and not certified we will know you have not read this post in its entirety but just spamming job posts. We will not hire non-certified applicants for our sites, ever. Thank you for reading our post.

Quality of use of English language essential.

This is a long term posting. This is not about a single fix. We are looking for someone that could be on part of our permanent team.

Some areas of concern in the past have been:

Checkout wasn't working. Fixed
Minor repairs to websites, not stable. Examples might be:
Form key not valid at times
Update 'status' of sales orders.
incorrect categories appearing after search result fetches
The need for ongoing testing of site(s) to ensure all functionality is working properly, maybe testing once a week, on all plug-ins and noted repairs for stability. (ex: does the tax exempt plug-in work, is the SEO plugin functioning properly and producing the required results, does checkout work properly, Is the abandoned cart working, etc etc)
category after a search fetch accurately working or are they 'jumbled up' or are they showing incorrect categories.
item displays are 'out of margins'. not within design parameters
Proper design requirement standard, critical info must appear above the fold.
Is the category pane missing
Possible webdesign where needed.
Rebuild several sites from 1.8 to 1.94
Repair areas in v2 site (layout design)
Imput conversion of websites to customer elected language such as Google translator solution.
Converter for foreign currency at checkout
Update sales tax calculator

These are mere examples of repairs we've made or wish to add but there are others. This is a sampling. We feel some are developer related showing us when work is done but not 'Proofed' (reviewed first) or a none certified developer has been working on our sites which is not approved by us. Poor work always shows up eventually.

We expect professional self-management when working on our sites. We need to approve all work on dev server before pushed to live production server.(Bizarre I even have to mention such a basic requirement in this post)

"Primary' site is www.kitchenstuff.com 1.94, 4 sites 1.84 with the same database per manufacturer distinction. For example, kitchenstuff.com site is primary site, all items in our database appear on it with categories by manufacture and categories by 'type of part'. On sub sites, like Blodgett manufacturer (commercial oven manufacturer) has a category under Blodgett in kitchenstuff but also has a site with ONLY Blodgett items on it, Blodgett-parts.com currently 1.84

Extra possibilities for required non dev talent. We may also need talent for other services to support of our sites, such as building/adding new categories and their accompanying 'parts explosion images' for 'zone areas' on a piece of equipment with links to each item detailed page and push outs from explosion diagram of description of each part when hovered over it too. (see robotcoupe.net or slicermixerparts.com (v2) for examples of explosion imagery we have built, drill down to imagery or see attachment).

Ensure all new items are properly setup in item profiles/catalog for maximum SEO results. (conicals, metas, widgets and schema) is accurate. All to Google standards.

To ensure you have read this entire posting please respond with the words "See spot run." in your first sentence of your reply. This way I know you've read it to the end. If we dont see this wordage we will not be able to read your application.

If we are interested, we will request a phone interview thru skype. Thank you for your interest.

**Please be aware. If improper development or programming outside Magento standards (like changing any source code or any other manipulations) we will pursue damages thru legal council in your country, this will be noted in our Terms & Conditions in our agreement along with you and or your company.

Also, we are noting other possible work; CRM similar to Vineland software which would integrate with our ERP (sql) software Everest, API (Amazon sales order connector to our ERP.

Job location is in Atlanta GA, USA.

Again, thank you for your time and interest.
