My partners and I are starting a new company that will manufacture and sell machinery. We have no existing data/processes to integrate; we want to set Odoo up to support our requirements and start using it from the very beginning.
We need a lightweight CRM/sales management system that handles the process of opportunity identification through quoting and sale, and then when a sale is made we want it to generate appropriate purchasing and manufacturing orders so we can build and deliver the goods. So it needs to handle the BOMs for 5 or 6 different products, each with a few variations. It'll also need to manage inventory for those BOMs, as well as our manufactured goods.
Is this something you're equipped to do? If so, I'd love to know about similar projects you've done in the past, and get an idea how many hours you think would be involved.
