Please, don't waste our time.
Sorry for the tone of these notices. If you have ever posted a job on Guru, you get a lot of people that waste your time. We are busy and we are looking for help. That is why we are here. We don't have time to sift through nonsense.
To the rest of you, thank you for taking the time to apply and good luck.
We need a project manager to help us move our projects forward.
I think it will require 30-60 minutes per day on Monday through Friday. I have been doing the project management myself but I would rather focus my 30-60 minutes on other priorities.
You must be excellent at Trello.
You must live in North America and/or be American or Canadian.
You will be interacting with our team via trello and sometimes via email.
Ideally you will also be coordinating the client change requests between clients and our team via email and trello.
I would like to have a phone or skype meeting with you once per week for 30 minutes. This is just to stay updated.
We are a video, photo, and photo booth company. We shoot a mix of weddings, corporate, commercial, and non-profit videos and photos. We have about 25-35 projects in various stages of production at any given time. We have a queue of about 20 projects that are scheduled to shoot within 12 months at any given time.
We have about 4 editors working on projects at any given time.
We have two part-time virtual admins that help with scheduling and some client interactions.
We have been in business for over 4 years and our Trello workflow is pretty good.
We have a 5 star rating on Yelp. We have an A rating on the BBB. We want to keep those ratings up there. We are located in Hawaii (maybe you'll visit us one day).
This should be fairly straightforward. We just need a project manager to monitor that all the projects are moving forward. It is as simple as looking at the lists and the cards in Trello and noting what is happening with each. Then tagging the appropriate team member to get an update on what is happening and pushing it forward. Then checking the emails for client requests. And adding to checklists in Trello.
I think it will take a nice but persistent person to do this.
We request that you fill out this personality assessment and send us the .pdf files with your resume: (Lower left corner of this link)
