3D Engineering drawings for Solar Sail Cub Sat based on existing design
Four Solar Sail that are folded and expanded via a system of telescoping system (telescoping rods) and retractable coil spring mechanism.
Telescoping rods are attached to a Gimbal Mechanism (or Universal Ball Joints) and after they are fully deployed retractable coil spring mechanism is triggered and one fully expanded solar sail is approximately 3mx3m in size
Solar sails are based on 6U (10cm*60cm) CubSat however another 2U cubes can be added to the front and end to place electronic components and motors for a final size of 10U (10cm *100cm)
There is a solar sail folded within cubsat on each side (4 solar sails); Aluminum Coated with Molybdenum on one side and Copper Indium Gallium Selenide) or Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) on other
Solar sails are packed/folded within Rectangular Metal Sheets of 50cm * 5cm, all together 6 metals sheets made of copper, connected via flexible hinges made of polymer and copper mesh, they will be used as Electrodynamic tethers
Project will require 10 mins of video call to go over existing images and 3d drawing to make sure we are on the same page in terms of final output required

Project budget is USD 200, it could have been higher, but I already did most of the core design work myself
