Freelance Researcher Needed: Global Indexes – India Ranking Analysis (Initial Report)
Project Overview: I am working on a project to compile and evaluate India’s ranking across various global indexes and how these impact the country’s global image, sovereign credit ratings, and public perception—especially among the youth.
Scope of Work (Phase 1):
Why Rankings Matter (1-page Summary): A crisp, compelling one-pager explaining why global rankings are important—especially their role in shaping India’s international credibility, creditworthiness, and inspiring confidence among its younger generation.
Segment Identification: List broad segments where India is globally ranked—such as Business, Innovation, Governance, Healthcare, Education, Press Freedom, and Human Rights, etc.
First Deep-Dive Segment – Healthcare & Pharma:
Identify relevant global indexes (healthcare systems, pharma innovation, hospital infrastructure, public health outcomes, etc.)
Provide a short description (1-page per index) including: Name and website of ranking institution
Purpose & methodology of each index
India’s historical ranking and trends
Critique on methodology—biases, flaws, or Western lens
Why this index matters for Indian government, corporates, and global perception
Note: This is a preliminary assignment. Based on the quality and insights delivered, a larger follow-up report may be commissioned.
Ideal Candidate:
Strong research and analytical writing skills
Background in international relations, public policy, or economics preferred
Experience in geopolitical or macroeconomic research a bonus
