Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer to lead and execute the integration of SAP S4/Hana with our internal systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S4/Hana development, ABAP programming, and API integrations. You will work closely with our business analysts, IT teams, and functional experts to design, develop, and deploy SAP solutions that enhance our business processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize ABAP programs for SAP S4/Hana.
- Integrate SAP S4/Hana with internal systems through APIs (REST, OData) and SAP API Management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and align SAP developments accordingly.
- Design and implement enhancements and customizations using BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and other SAP extension techniques.
- Develop and extend SAP Fiori applications in conjunction with ABAP for user-friendly, efficient interfaces.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for existing and new ABAP programs.
- Provide technical documentation and training to relevant teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 5+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with a strong focus on S4/Hana.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S4/Hana architecture and its specific development tools (CDS Views, AMDP, HANA-native SQL).
- Proven experience with API integrations, including SAP OData services, RESTful APIs, and SAP API Management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori development is a plus.
- Strong understanding of SAP’s enhancement framework, including BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.
- Experience in debugging, performance tuning, and optimizing ABAP for HANA in-memory databases.
- Familiarity with automotive or similar business processes will be an advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and stakeholders.
