Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress/WooCommerce developer to help us redesign and optimize our e-commerce website as per the attachment. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in creating SEO-friendly website structures, including the development of category pages, subcategories, proper URL structure, breadcrumbs, and an intuitive navigation menu. This project involves 104 product URLs with main product categories and subcategories that need to be structured logically for both user experience and SEO performance.
Job Duration: 2 weeks only, no extension
Responsibilities:
- Redesign the existing website using WordPress/WooCommerce to create an organized and easy-to-navigate structure.
- Implement a left-side menu with subcategories under each main product category, ensuring seamless navigation.
- Develop SEO-friendly URL structures for 16 product categories and subcategories.
- Set up proper breadcrumbs for every product category and sub-product, following best SEO practices.
- Ensure all 104 product URLs are included in their respective categories and subcategories, without missing any product.
- Create new categories (such as Labor Colony, PEB Construction, Prefabricated Buildings, Pre-Engineered Buildings) and set up URL structures for these as needed.
- Optimize the website for mobile responsiveness, page speed, and user experience.
- Implement basic on-page SEO optimizations (meta titles, descriptions, internal linking).
- Collaborate with our marketing team to ensure all SEO requirements are met.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing WordPress/WooCommerce websites.
- Expertise in SEO principles and best practices for URL structuring and website navigation.
- Strong understanding of WooCommerce and its customization capabilities.
- Ability to implement advanced breadcrumb systems and left-side navigation menus.
- Familiarity with mobile-first design and website performance optimization.
- Experience working with large e-commerce websites with 100+ products.
Deliverables: - Complete redesign of website structure with improved navigation.
