Basic editing and proofreading: Minor adjustments to wording and sentence structure, corrections to spelling, grammar, and punctuation: $25/1000 words Medium copyediting: Sentence level improvements to ensure clarity and consistency: $38/1000 words Heavy copyediting: Significant recasting of the text - reorganising and rephrasing at the sentence and paragraph level: $50/1000 words Developmental editing: After consulting with you in some detail about your aims, I will make substantial suggestions about the structure and style of the text. This service is priced by the hour, rather than by the word, due to its necessarily open-ended nature: $65/hour PLEASE NOTE - I do not rewrite academic work.
