I hold a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree with majors in Financial Accounting and Auditing, and a Postgraduate diploma in Risk Management (Cum laude) from the University of South Africa and I am a member of the Institute of Risk Management South Africa.

With over 8 years of experience working in the financial services industry covering financial reporting, risk analysis and mitigation I would be a valuable addition to your team. Through my experience working on transactions, financial reporting and analysis, budgeting, cost accounting, auditing, tax and strategic development, I have gained problem solving, analytical, leadership, team-work, accounting skills and honed my excel, communication, interpersonal, time-management and innovative skills. I have risk experience at intermediary level in the following areas; recommendation and implementation of strategies to reduce and control risk, analysis of proposed business decisions to assess their effect on the organization, presentation of risk findings and proposed solutions to senior management as well as investigation of external audit findings and recommendations in order to implement the necessary changes. I work with very minimal supervision as I report directly to the company Finance Director.
