Steve seemed destined to teach Othello to eighth graders,
but advertising intervened.
On a whim, he entered an advertising competition for college students and, as luck would have it, won first prize and a Summer Internship at a New York Agency.
Years later, it’s safe to say that both education and advertising are far better off.
Most recently, Steve was a Creative Director at MRM (McCann Relationship Marketing), in charge of the Verizon FiOS business. Prior to that, he worked at a small number of Big Blue Chip agencies: FCBi, Ogilvy, Ogilvy One, and Hal Riney in Chicago.
His experience ranges from mutual funds to motorboats. From fiber optics to pharmaceuticals. Steve has helped Tiffany sparkle and Verizon ring up profits. He’s given American Express a charge, made news for the Chicago Tribune, filled beds for Marriott, delivered profits for UPS and helped Lufthansa and US Airways soar.
