I'm a professional communicator. I know the value of excellent writing, but I also understand that in most cases--especially in the realm of technical writing--communication is a means to a greater end: making money and growing your business.
For the past 15 years, I have written and edited white papers, administrator's guides, user's guides, technical specification documents, API reference documents, SDK documentation, readme documents, help systems, and user interface texts. I have defined and refined terminology and written help and documentation content for major products such as Symantec's Norton Ghost and Backup Exec System Recovery, Microsoft Office Resource Kit, Novell's NetWare, and produced an online documentation knowledge base for Move Networks, the media streaming company hosting major network clients Fox, Disney, ABC, and NBC.
