Melinda Beavers: Creative Director of Illustration For Melinda, what began with a childhood inclination for drawing has blossomed into a diverse career in visual creativity. She has studied illustration, design and photography. As a graphic designer, she's worked with surface design, product development, package design, and product display. She has developed brand identities, print collateral campaigns, and multi-media promotions. Her illustrations have been featured in print publications, product design, and packaging and have been displayed in several international juried exhibitions. Children’s book art has been a huge influence in her illustrative career and she is an active member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. She is also an award winning, signature member of the Colored Pencil Society of America.
