Received training on wetland and water quality training and seminars nationally to review examples of riverine, palustrine, lacustrine, estuarine and marine wetland systems. Particular experience with topography of the Eastern Kentucky Coalfields with often higher gradient streams and Western Kentucky Coalfields with more flatter broader hydrologic regimes often associated with lower gradient floodplains. Knowledge of Wetland Reserve Program and manuals and processes included in NRCS Directives web site. Broad administrative review experience in identifying landowners on maps that coincide with lease and deed documentation, verifying latitude and longitude, addressing legal opinions and protests, ensuring correct acreage identification, environmental resource identification, addressing critical resource concerns from state and federal agencies such as FWS, ACE and FS, and by serving at permit conferences.
