I am a college sophomore trying to pursue a new career as a Virtual Assistant. I have extensive office skills and can do just about anything that needs to be done in an Administrative environment. I am currently an Office Manager working for a government contracting company, and most if not all of my jobs have revolved around clerical work.
I have many different skills, some obtained during my work at various companies and other skills are self taught. Through my own trial and error, I have taught myself basic PC maintenance/troubleshooting, XHTML, CSS, web and graphic design, along with other useful computer knowledge. I've done accounts payable using Timberline, I also have basic knowledge of Quickbooks. Faxing, filing, and Microsoft Office are like second nature to me. Any possible task that can be performed in an office, I can do. I have a love for party/event coordination and have just finished planning multiple events.
