Benefits Administrator Administer the full range of benefits including medical, dental, life, disability, 401 (k), and a defined benefit plan. Partner with other team members to ensure the accuracy of manual and system-generated calculations. Responsible for a variety of details involving client's employees' enrollment. Using plan documents as guidelines, maintain client benefit eligibility records. Determine proper order for coordination of benefits when reviewing enrollment records. Responsible for administering COBRA, HIPAA and section 125/cafeteria plans for clients as well. Administration of these regulations involve mailing notices, calculating and collecting premiums, and detailed recordkeeping. Spend about 50% of each day obtaining information from clients and educating clients and clients' employees through good telephonic customer service skills, conducting and set-up new hire meetings, benefit and 401K enrollment meetings.
