Analyze, modify and introduce company policies to ensure compliance with legal requirements. Advise management team on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunities, leave of absences (including FMLA), benefits and compensation. Perform difficult staffing duties, including dealing with refereeing disputes, firing employees and administering disciplinary procedures. Identify staff vacancies and recruit, interview and select applicants. Provide current and prospective employees with information about company policies, job duties, working conditions, wages and employee benefits. Process the initial paperwork for prospective candidates, including initiating a conditional offer of employment, coordinating appropriate drug testing and physical with third party vendor and I-9/E-verify accuracy. Responsible for initiating criminal, DOT and Motor Vehicle background investigations, as well as completing employment verifications. Process employee terminations including notifying the employee of termination reason and submitting Form LWC 77.
